To avoid consumers to be deceived, here are 3 tips to distinguish fake PSP batteries.
Tip 1: Please pay close attention to the country of origin.
Most PSP batteries are made in China, and only minority ones are made in Japan. So do not buy the PSP batteries that are labeled that made in china or made in Japan. Just have a look at the following picture. It is a fake one.
Tip 2: Please pay close attention to the serial number of the PSP batteries.
The first two numbers of the PSP batteries’ serial number represent the year of manufacture. Please buy the PSP batteries whose serial numbers begin with “09”. If there are some whose serial number begins with “08”, please think it over before you make a decision to buy. Please see the following two pictures. Tip 3: The two-dimensional code of the PSP batteries.
Every original PSP battery has a two-dimensional code. The code is special and unique. It is in correspondence with the serial number of the PSP battery. You can use one two-dimensional code scan software.
1) The two-dimensional code and serial number of the original PSP batteries are imprinted in a later time and its color is black. But the two-dimensional code of the fake PSP batteries are printed together with the sticker and its color is a little gray. If the serial number is gray, the battery must be a fake one. You can have a look at the following two pictures. The first one is an original one and the second one is a fake one.
2) You can make a multi-comparison. Some batteries have a same serial number while they have different two-dimensional codes. As this happens, they must be fake PSP batteries.
3) You can use some two-dimensional code scan software. The batteries that can be not scanned or lacking agreement must be fake ones. You can have a look at the following two pictures. The first one is an original one and the second one is a fake one.
